The Crown Capital PROJECT REVEAL!

Project Announcement!!! If anyone is interested lol

It's called The Crown Capital and I want to be releasing stuff about it over the rest of its development like explaining mechanics or speed draws or whatever cos that sounds cool but well see what i actually do orz 

TCC is kind of like a crossover between Runescape and Stardew Valley! You explore the open world and gain experience in a set of skills that allow you to explore the world even more! I'm also looking forward to including a large cast of characters in this game and with improved art from ERA and new stuff too! Big thanks to the creators that inspired me and provided resources (art, plugins etc) so I could make this game so far! (credits will be included at some point!)

i made new music!111!!1!!!!

and it's not for a game (mostly) or anything else, its just for fun and practice using BeepBox which is the love of my life for making my own music i love BeepBox i couldnt recommend it enough for people who want to start making music really simply and cooly

How To: Update ERA

ERA has been updated to v1.1!

There are new download links on mediafire and have been updated on the main blog post with the download links for you to use!!! written below is a How To guide on How To transfer your save data from previous versions (currently only v1.0) to the updated version(s) of ERA ]: )

How To: Update ERA

(Might not work on all platforms i use a mac so thats what this guide will be based off of, just do what feels right and make sure to backup everything first!!! if you have any knowledge on how to update on different platforms please tell me)

Step 0) backup your current version (with included save files) of ERA

Step 1) locate the ERA launcher program and right-click and choose 'show package contents' (these steps may be different for linux and windows)

Step 2) open the 'resources' folder, and then open the 'app.nw' folder. a folder titled 'save' should be inside, assuming you have a save file on your old version of ERA

Step 3) download the new file version for your OS and unzip the .zip file

Step 4) follow the same steps as Step 2 but stop at the 'app.nw' folder. there shouldn't be a 'save' folder

Step 5) copy the 'save' folder from the old version into the 'app.nw' folder in the new version

Step 6) you should have updated ERA successfully! remember these steps will be different for linux and windows, but essentially what you are doing is transferring the save files from the old version to the newer version. after this the game should run smoothly.

Step 7) play ERA through the new version launcher and everything should be working!

i wrote in the description about making the music with beepbox which is a free website for making 8-bit music (or sometimes not 8-bit) and i really love it - ive been making music with it since 2018 (which is around the time i started working on ERA!)

its really easy to use and i will be posting more music in the future... tehe

ERA Promo Trailer

ERA will be released later this year! also the trailer for ERA is now uploaded on youtube (check the sidebar for links) and while editing and stuff i already found two mistakes in the game which i need to fix and i was gonna re record the parts with mistakes but i just could not be bothered so if you can find the mistakes (now or when it's released) then you get a gold star and get to put a trophy in your bio x ... (also btw today is a significant date which is why i'm posting the trailer today but you will see what it means when you play the game!!!)
